We are pleased to announce our migration to vSphere 4 ESXi on new Dell r710 servers. VMware is known for its robust and mature virtualization offerings. Pivcon has been a long time proponent of VMware backed solutions for reasons of substantial cost and efficiency benefits. Likewise, DELL is a stalwart figure in the world of enterprise servers. All of this translates into massive benefits for new and existing customers.
vSphere's is a significant milestone in the evolution of virtualization offerings. It is targeted toward Private Cloud infrastructure. Cloud computing enables our customers to cost efficiently expand their infrastructure on the fly as their needs expand. We offer virtual dedicated servers and networks for our customers. Beneath all of this is rock solid capacity management, performance management, and disaster recovery ability, all interlaced with well-defined and secure partitioned resources pools. We expand your solution on demand as your needs require.
Dell's r710 offers many advantages over our previous Dell 2950 servers. A key improvement of the r710 is the new Nehalem processor architecture. Nehalem offers significantly increased computing power and RAM capacity, in addition to significantly reduced power consumption. In addition, with these new servers we have significantly increased the space of our fast, reliable, and secure on disk storage. What this means for our customers is that Pivcon is able to maintain its already low cost virtual dedicated server offerings for our turnkey and outsourced corporate infrastructure solutions.
We are proud partners of both Veeam and Dell.
